Uhelný mlýn: the event venue near Prague
An event venue near Prague, built for big things. Conferences, dinners, parties. Or all three in one day. And because we’re ZE MĚ projekt, it doesn’t stop at renting you the space. We can cook, light it, handle the sound, dream up the whole concept, or hand you the keys and let you run the show yourself.
So how do you get to Libčice, just outside Prague? By private train, for starters. Or 25 minutes by car from the city center.
Introducing: Uhelný mlýn
In a former industrial complex in Libčice nad Vltavou, now tastefully renovated, you’ll find an event space where the industrial vibe still calls the shots. Concrete, brick, steel, soaring ceilings and tons of space to play with.
Our Boiler House covers 1,500 m² (about 16,000 sq ft), with ceilings up to 12 meters (nearly 40 ft) high. It fits up to 600 guests indoors, and the whole venue can take up to 1,000. That’s plenty of room and plenty of tech for corporate events, conferences, product launches and fashion shows.
Rows of chairs in the morning. Tables, a bar and music by night. The space shifts throughout the day to fit whatever you need.
It might sound like a trip out of town, but you’re here in under half an hour from downtown Prague, by car or by train. And the train can be a lot more than just a way to get here.
Taking a private train to your event? (But really – why not?)
The ride from Masaryk Station to Uhelný mlýn packs in way more than your average event. Picture it: everyone meets at Masaryk Station. The departure board shows your company name, your event name, or whatever else gets your guests to the right platform. One car, two, or even five, depending on the size of your crowd.
We’ll decorate the cars, light them up in your brand colors and play some music, or bring in a full DJ set. The first drinks get poured as you pull out, and passed bites can start making the rounds between the seats.
Then you just ride. From Prague straight to the doorstep of Uhelný mlýn. No shuttles, no drivers, no parking, and no phone calls like “Wait, where are you guys exactly?” Your guests arrive together, and the party can get going before anyone steps off the train.
We’d be happy to set up the train for you. The whole thing, if you like: the ride, the decor, the program and the food.

The only question is: how much ZE MĚ do you want at your event?
Catering is what we’re known for. It’s just our thing. We love cooking with seasonal ingredients and building menus around whatever’s best right now: vegetables, fruit, meat, fish and everything in between. A big buffet with schnitzels, salads and veggie rolls. Passed beef sliders, cheesy quesadillas or bao buns your guests can grab mid-conversation. A dinner for a few people, plated fine dining or a grill right by the entrance. One menu for the whole night, or five courses. We’ll create it, cook it and serve it.
Then there’s the tech. Need a DJ, a host, or just crystal-clear sound for a presentation? We’ve got you. We’ll light up the Boiler House and the outdoor grounds to match whatever’s happening. We can set up a huge LED screen for your keynote, or several smaller screens running your brand video. We’ll handle sound for a 200-person conference, a small party or an outdoor program.
And if you want us to run the whole event, we’ll start from scratch. Together we’ll come up with the concept, then set up the space, the stage design and the production. We’ll take care of the food, the tech and everything in between. From the first idea to the last drink.
